The riot which killed Bill Jackson A riot, or a big fight between Franky Doyle's gang and Bea Smith's gang,
took place in episode 3. Meg was taken hostage, and Bill Jackson, her
husband, was killed. |

The return of Chrissie Latham Chrissie was the woman who killed Bill. She had been transferred to Barnhurst,
but was transferred back to Wentworth without a warning for Meg. This
was a great shock to her, and it led to a strike amongst the officers. |

The Geoff Butler assault When Meg told Geoff Butler she didn't want to see him anymore, he took
her hostage. Fortunately, Jim came to a rescue only after a short while. |

Hostage during riot The women were rioting because of Sharon Gilmoure's death, and took Meg
and Mrs. Davidson hostage. Lizzie was drinking Davo's booze, but got too
drunk. Paul Reid tricked her into giving up. |

Being a prisoner Judy and the Driscoll house were accused of assisting an escapee, and
Meg is to appear as a witness in court. But she refuses to say anything
that will hurt Judy's case, and the judge holds her in contempt of court.
She has to spend 3 days in Wentworth as a prisoner, and during that time
she is bashed by Margo. |

The anonymous phone calls and hostage Meg's son Marty came home from sea with his friend Dennis Quinn. At the
same time, Meg started getting obscene phone calls, and it made her more
and more upset. It later shows to be Dennis, and he holds Meg hostage
with a knife, acting really confused, thinking she's his mother. She outsmarts
him, and the police arrives. |

The Tracey Morris hostage Tracey was a former inmate, and the daughter of Meg's earlier husband
Bob. She came to visit Meg with her boyfriend, years after the divorce,
and they took Meg hostage demanding money. Tracey got the money, tricked
the boyfriend and took off with it herself. When the boyfriend realized
that Tracey isn't coming back, he's about to shoot himself, but Meg gets
the situation under control just in time. |

The rape Meg was raped by Peter Wright and his accomplice. Peter was a friend of
Angel's, and she told him to rape Meg. "To turn her off men for a while",
as she puts it, since Meg is interested in Philip Cleary, just as Angel
is. |

The Brian Lowe hostage Brian Lowe was the boyfriend of Phyllis Hunt, who had ended up a vegetable
after the Reb Kean bashing. He wanted to get back at the department, so
he took Ann Reynolds and Meg hostage. He also shoots Philip Cleary. He
kept Meg and Ann in and old warehouse, where he finally fell down a flight
of stairs and died. The police found Meg and Ann. |

The tumor and the pregnancy After the Brian Lowe hostage, Meg finds out the rape made her pregnant.
She is not sure whether to keep the baby or not, but she finds out she
has got a tumor. This means she'll have to go through an operation, and
get rid of the baby. This together with the death of Philip makes her
very depressed. |

The Frank Burke hostage Frank Burke had it in for Meg's fiancee Dennis Cruickshank. He took Meg
hostage, and when Dennis came home, he threatened them both. He shot Dennis
in the legs before the police arrived, which led to Dennis ending up in
a wheelchair, and leaving Meg. |
